Daniel and I met and started dating in July of 2005. After a good year, we were married Aug 5, 2006. We lived in the Love Shack Trailer in Egin, ID. Though a bit far from town, we enjoyed ourselves and gained great friendships. In April 2008, we moved a few miles to Hibbard, near Rexburg. In September Baby Addyson entered our family; truly blessing our lives, hearts, and home.

The busy month of July

Yes, this month has been busy and flew by all means! With reunions, holidays, weddings, work, and watching Addy grow and play-I am at awe that it is about over! But I did want to share a couple of our memories.

The first weekend of July was packed with my family's Holman reunion and the 4th of July. I was suppose to work that whole weekend, but was put on call on the 4th. So it was a great day! It was fun to dress Addy in our awesome flag's colors! Daniel spent most of the day helping my dad with a terrible water leak. Thanks Dan! I know that was not really what you wanted to spend your whole day off doing. We loved the fireworks with some of my brothers and cousins!

LOVE THE RED, WHITE, and BLUE! We are totally proud of our American heritage!

Addy is a good helper for her dad! Thanks again Dan!

Always love the fireworks!
Addy and I spent a couple of days in Utah for my cousin's wedding. We also got to spend a little time with my brother Greg. We stayed at his house and also got to go see him at work on the army base. He sure is handsome in all his Army gear!

Another fun thing we did as a family was go down to Bear Lake for a concert. When Dan and I went to Nashville in Febuary, we went to a concert with this band and really enjoyed it. So we were excited when they were coming so close to us. We went with My brother, Rick and Brit. It just happened to be the same weekend that Dan's nephew was playing baseball in that town. So we were able to see Jed and Angie's family there too!

DUE WEST from NASHVILLE! (Brad the one on the left is in my brother, Blakes ward. They are actually all members of the church.) They are also part of a tribute band called The Nashville Tribute Band. That is actually the concert that we went to in Feb. They are coming to BYU-I in Sept. I highly recommend you all to go!

Addy and her Daddy singing along to the great music!

Addy and I have really enjoyed the hot days of summer that I have not worked! We rewarded my Holman nephews and niece for helping me weed my garden and flower beds by going up to the sandbar in St. Anthony! (I also took them to Harry Potter-We all loved it!) But the sandbar was such a blast that Addy and I had to turn around a couple days later and invite some of her Stoddard cousins to enjoy the fun!

Holman cousins having fun! Tyree, Hayden, Savannah, Matthiew, and Treyton

Brycen and Conner building a sand castle

Cort and Preston as crazy as ever!

Even Angie enjoyed the sandbar!

Our last adventure so far for the month of July was the 24th of July celebration. We got up early and went to the Hibbard Pioneer Celebration breakfast and games. Then we met some of Dan's family up to the parade, car show, and social! It was a really good time to see friends, family, and dig in to a super greesy burger! Then that afternoon we met up again with Dan's family out to a little camp spot they have and rode 4-wheelers and motorbikes. Addy played with her cousins as usual and we all got as dirty and as be! Dan and I had to ditch out early so we could hit up his 15 YEAR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION! Can you believe that! He had a great time seeing old friends and classmates. It made me a little excited to eventually have a class reunion.

June 27th meant Addy was 9 months old!

June was so fun and busy! Addyson was such a trooper! When I say that, I really mean it! The trip to and from Vegas she was completely pleasant, then the next weekend we went to Lava and camped out..HER FIRST CAMP OUT! The next week we had another weekend full of driving. Friday we drove with some friends to Tremonton to a wedding reception and then the very next day we drove 5 hours to Hamilton MT for another reception, just to turn around and drive back 5 hours. She is so fun to watch and play with. She is interacting and showing her personality! We love it!

At the beginning of June she started army crawling which then turned more into "the worm" crawl. Just when she mastered that...she decided to start pulling herself up on EVERYTHING! I lowered the crib down cuz I could just picture her tumbling out. By the end of the month she thought she was big enough to start working on the stairs...So we have had to get two sets of the stair gates. Here are some Addy moments from this month.

This is her favorite blanket. She loves to cuddle with it.

This is the day I lowered the crib. She was so tired and grumpy by the time I got it done. I knew she would fall quickly to sleep, so I just put her in it and let her cry herself to sleep and this is how I found her a few minutes later. OUT COLD, but SITTING UP!! She is totally her mother's daughter, able to sleep anywhere, in any position!

She loves motorized vehicles, whether it is the 4 wheeler, Daddy's bike, or Carp's moped. She looks so tiny on them.

Daddy's girl!!

We found this shirt while in St. George and text this picture to Addy's Daddy that we missed so much!

This was the second day that we were in St. George and she started feeling a little better. This was probably about the first smile we saw that trip because she felt so miserable at the beginning!

She looked so adorable to me in these flowers at the St. George temple.

This is her most favorite and most entertaining toy at home. It is the door stop in my bathroom. Each day when I start to get ready for the day, I sit her on her bum in my bedroom and right away she crawls into my bathroom. She knows right where it is and flicks it. I think she is totally entertained by the noise it makes. She cracks me up!

This is the first day she took to the stairs. She only dared to climb up the first two steps, but she figured out how to get up and down those first steps!

She is still a tiny tot, but she is so lively! We love her so much!!!!!!!

JUNE IS GONE...JULY IS ALREADY HERE!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE JUNE IS PAST HISTORY!!!! I have been meaning to tell you all about my awesome trip to Vegas during June. It was such a blast!!! Can I just say I have awesome friends! I love it because they are just as crazy, spontaneous, and as spastic as I am!

So early in June Kimmi and I looked online and booked reservations for two condo nights in St. George and two nights in Vegas. We wanted to go down and see our friend Krystle before she had her baby and we decided to open the invitation to some of our other friends... And most of them excepted. So then we decided to rent a mini van so we could all ride down together. SO FUN! Talk about reliving memory lane! So here is the crew... Me, Lacie (Egan)Fell, Chelsie Egan, Crystal Carpenter, Kimmi Forbush. We each took our turn driving through the Idaho rain...Remind you this is when it seemed as if the rain in Idaho would never end. In fact it stormed on us clear past Provo. So it was a nice break to leave the rain!

May I just mention how amazing my baby is! She trekked with us, and the morning we were leaving she awoke with a horrible cough. She sounded really croupy. I felt totally hesitant to take her with us, but I am vain and didn't want to dog out because I had planned the whole thing. So with lots of prayers and a blessing from her dad, we drove on...with Tylenol and Motrin in hand of course! She sounded horrible, was very lethargic, and you could tell she felt like garbage, but she was so good the whole way; not really even fussy! She just wasn't her smiley self...but so good!

St George was fun. Full of shopping, visiting, sitting by the pool, good grubbin, and even a little hiking. We even walked around the St. George temple. It was very pretty.

We went up to what Kimmi called "The Crack"...but some old alumni of Dixie called it "The Wedge." I actually like the crack better! It was a slim crack through the red rocks that was almost too tight for me to make it through....So when I say slim...I mean it!!!

Krysle was brave and went to Vegas with us even though she was just a couple weeks from delivering...TROOPER!!!! In Vegas we did a little more shopping, more laying out by the pool, grubbin, and even a night down the strip.

The condo had an awesome Lazy River Pool which we floated on for hours. Addy loved the water, but wasn't a huge fan of the sun. She is still too young to enjoy that I guess!

We decided to get all dolled up to down down to the strip and go to dinner...I mean, how often do we ever have ANYTHING to get dolled up for, anyway! Even little Addy got dressed up and adorable!

Around midnight or so, Crystal, Chelsie, and I decided to go on the New York New York Roller Coaster. It was so fun! I definitely plan to do that with Dan some time! Here we are just prior to going on the roller coaster and also Addy slept most of the Vegas Strip trip...But we did get tons of dirty looks from people for having this tiny baby out there... We even overheard a couple saying, "she couldn't be more than two days old." Little did they know!

Thank you so much girls!!! Let's do it again!!!

Addy's gone mobile!

MY PRECIOUS BABY!

I am a week late of Addy's birthday, but better late than never, right! Okay, I will keep telling myself that. She turned 8 months old this month. This month has been the best by far! Addyson's personality has definitely shown forth! She is so funny. She is quite the drama queen and very sassy! We survived the little teething phase, which ended with no teeth at all! So I guess the fun will start all over some time :( Here in the last two weeks, she went from rocking on her knees to doing the army crawl. She wont do it on demand though...Ya know, like when you want to show someone...But when she wants something...she will get it! I love watching her. She cracks me up. She has been going through these phases where she loves her baby food A LOT, then she hates it and just the site of it makes her cry...Don't ask me what that is all about...I am just a first-timer! Anyway. She is still a shrimp, but I can definitely tell that she has gained weight...She just feels more solid that she used to.

OKAY, YOU MAY GUESS THIS IS MY FAVORITE FACE SHE MAKES!

I LOVE THIS GIRL!!

ENJOY THE HOT SUMMER DAYS!

Yes, enjoy them because they come scarce. Last Saturday was such a hot, and wonderful day! Saturday morning my brothers and Dan thought it would be fun to take the kids out to the dunes to go riding. So we loaded up the bikes and 4 wheelers, weenies, chairs, and sodas and trucked out there. It was really fun. The little boys' 50's did not do to hot in the sand, but it was sure funny trying to watch the big boys try to get them up even the smallest hills. So we just let the little kids drive the 4 wheelers around where we had set up our fire camp.

It was pretty eventful little trip...Justin wrecked his bike (no damage.) I tipped over the 4 wheeler :( (no damage) Dan did who knows what to his back...(After 5 days, Darvacet, Lortab, Flexeril, Naproxen, Toradol, Decadron, two patches, and the Dr visit, he is feeling much better :))

I think I got the award for being the smartest and also the award for best sunburn! For those that grew up with me, the answer is no...I still have not realized that I burn every time I go outside...What is sunscreen? I am still looking for that!

This is Addy at her Daddy's Dr. visit...Ready to be checked on too! By the way she has been teething or something the last week and a half, because she has not been my totally content baby! She has become the ultimate Momma's girl! Fussing, not letting me out of her sight, drooling on everything, fevers, runny nose, wont eat, wont sleep, problems out the back end. I am no expert, but something is going on...And I hope she returns to my sweet little princess after all those teeth come through! I love you, Addy!

Anyway...That evening we had a BBQ at my parents and then watched a movie on a projector outside...It was pretty fun. Thanks Todd and Suzy for arranging it all. Here are some of the photos from that night...

My mom and dad enjoying the fire.

Barry and Karin's little girl, Rachel and Blake's dog, CAT. It was so funny watching Rachel play with Cat. When they didn't know anyone was watching, Rachel would lay down and Cat would wrapper her arms around Rachel. After Cat saw us trying to get a photo, she wouldn't do it and she went and hid behind her house whenever she saw me pull out my camera...Now we know that not only is she afraid of the sound of a gun, but also the flash of the camera!

Addy was so content watching the fire. She was good all night...the next day the teething began!!!

My nephews and nieces had to take turns on the tramp...That is what happens when there are 20 grand kids! This was some of the little boys' turn
