Daniel and I met and started dating in July of 2005. After a good year, we were married Aug 5, 2006. We lived in the Love Shack Trailer in Egin, ID. Though a bit far from town, we enjoyed ourselves and gained great friendships. In April 2008, we moved a few miles to Hibbard, near Rexburg. In September Baby Addyson entered our family; truly blessing our lives, hearts, and home.

Addy is 7 months old! Cannot believe it!

I am just completely taken back on how quickly time is flying by! And my guilt builds each day that I take more pictures and do not scrapbook! WAY BEHIND! Things are still going great around here. We all battled colds, but we are over that now...We passed it on to our friends, the Neville's, who watch Addy when I go to work...Sorry Lynz!

I took this picture today after I tried on several different outfits to see what was too small, what was still too big, and finally what fits this week! I am serious, that is how we roll these days...WHAT FITS THIS WEEK! She is finally starting to grow I think...She is still a shrimp, but see it for yourselves...She has truly grown! This little pink outfit was my favorite one she wore as a preemie, and I guess I was given it in a size 3-6 month. (yeah we are just now coming out of 0-3 months...but hey, that is still growing!) Anyway. I put her preemie outfit on this bear to compare and I cannot believe she was small enough to wear that little outfit!

Our ward had a new bishopric called and then the next week Daniel was called as the Executive Secretary. He met with the old one to kind of get a fill of what he should expect and from the sounds of it, he is going to be pretty busy! I decided I am a bit selfish with my family and time (okay, I already new, I was just a bit bummed) I really enjoy spending our Sundays together and being able to skip town once in a while. Plus I am a little worried about how things will work out with Addy on the Sundays and Tuesdays I work. It has been so nice just having Dan to watch her those days. It actually makes me sad to think otherwise. :( I know I am lame! But I know he will be an asset to the ward and that we will all grow from it. I am just a whinier! Anyway, I thought this picture was so dang cute after we got home from church.

Addy totally loves her daddy! I just cannot make her laugh like he can!

We have enjoyed the couple of hot days that we have had so far. We had my brother's and their families over one night and broke out the BBQ grill.

Here Dan and Barry are doing the man thing-cooking on the grill

Then the next night we did the whole things over with a crew of our friends. If that wasn't enough, the following night we went up to Green Canyon with my family. Dan said he had enough hot dogs and hamburgers that weekend to last the rest of the summer.

Here they go again...the Man thing! Dan, Nate(Hartstock)and Brandon (Fell)

Melissa, Addy, Kimmi, Me, Lacie, and Chelsie (sister's from IF that we lived with through college.)

We actually had this get together in honor of Kimmi's birthday, so thank you Kimmi for making this fun night possible! It was way fun to see some of our friends that we don't see too often these days.

Back to Addyson! So as I mentioned before, she is now 7 months old as of today. She is such a doll! We absolutely love having her in our home and lives! She just lightens our lives and loads so much! We love you Addyson!

As we were trying things on today, I came across this hat, boots, glove set that was given to us. I wish I had found them earlier, but luckily she still fits into them. She looked so cute and was making the most innocent sounds while I had them on her. I was laughing so hard.
Anyway. It is getting kind of late, and I have to work early in the morning. I promised myself I would do this blog today because I really want to stay up on that goal I made to blog on each of her birthdays (well, ya know monthly birthdays) So here is to my little Addybug!

Adoring Addy
I adore how Addy's look changes so very much from week to week, and her personality continues to brighten!
I adore Addy's beautiful eye lashes that have finally come in :)
I adore Addy's dirty clothes that get added to ours and never slows down!
I adore Addy's high pitched squealing songs that she sings throughout the day!
I adore Addy's toothless grin and occasional shy look to others.
I adore Addy's independence, but really enjoy those days she allows me to cuddle her!
I adore Addy and how she is sitting up like a big girl!
I adore Addy rolling all over the floor and the speed she's got moving! WOW!
I adore that Addy is out of most of her 0-3's, but am going to miss some of those cute outfits!
I adore Addy how happy she is when she awakes and sees you to get her after her naps.
I adore how content she is and can entertain herself for quite a while!
I adore Addy being a child of God and knowing that He sent her to us!
I adore Addy and how she has changed my life for the better!

I love you so much Addyson Lou!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND IN SLC!

This past weekend was spent with my family down in Salt Lake. My family usually always goes there for every conference. We drove down Friday and again had the wonderful experience to attend my Dad's Argentine Mission Reunion with Elder Scott. He led us in a wonderful discussion of temple preparedness and attendance and then mingled with everyone. He is so kind and wonderful!

While we mingled, everyone also go to enjoy the hundreds of yummy empanadas my sister-in-law, Wonder Woman, I mean Romina made! If you haven't had the privileged of meeting her, you are completely missing out! She is amazing! There was a long line to visit with Elder Scott, so we enjoyed playing with Addy while we waited and also visited with a lot of my Dad's good friends.

Addy got to meet Elder Scott for the first time, along with our niece, Cassidy. He is so wonderful! I can't say it enough!

For those of you who know my family...there is not just a few of us! 2 awesome parents, 8 siblings and a countless numbers of spouses :), and 20 nieces and nephews. Not all of us where there, but it was still an event to house this many folks! So between Bryan and Ro and Todd and Suzy's hospitality, we were all safely attended for! When I say safely, I mean between all the kids and adults rough-housing, wrestling, and playing there where no injuries. That itself always makes for a good weekend!
Saturday was opened bright and early with an adventure to Todd's house for a birthday breakfast for Uncle Ricky's birthday!

Talk about amazing buffet style with everything you could think of to eat for breakfast! Awesome job everyone! Thank you to all those who didn't stay out late and then awoke early to cook (yeah...we made it just in time to eat, so we can't take any credit!)

HAPPY B-DAY RICKY!

During the break between conference, Dan, Addy, Brit, Suzy, and I went over to the church to watch the boys play ball (again, always greatful for another safe event with the competitive Holman boys!) Suzy and I had our own game of PIGGY. Who won? Amazing-ME, PIGGY-Sue! We had to add a few extra letters to pig to give Suzy a chance :) Suzy, if it makes you feel any better, it was luck because I don't think I have shot a basketball since high school! But good game!

My wonderful Uncle Dan gets the boys tickets for Priesthood session, so off our handsome older boys went Saturday evening. They all had a nice time. Todd was there too, but he was the designated photographer

While they were gone, the little kids entertained us with lots of dress up time and clean up time (multiple times!)

The boys were Superheros!

And the girls were beautiful ballerinas.
We also played Missionary Bingo (which Karin and I improvised to make it work for us! They will play anything for a treat! So I showed them the treat and then told them in order to play they each had to do a job first(sweep, clean table, pick up toys in kitchen...worked well!) All the kids Bingo papers were the same, so we went around the table and I picked the picture and Karin asked a question about the subject. If they got it right, then they could put a skittle on it. It kept the kids well entertained for at least an hour!
When the boys got home, we had an awesome BBQ for Rick's birthday. Thanks again Ro for your amazing talents!

After the first session on Sunday, my mom wanted to do a little Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Barry and I had just as much as fun hiding the eggs as the kids had looking for them. It was a nice, sunny day!

Cassidy helped Addy find her eggs. Thanks Cass!

We love our Holman family and are grateful for the wonderful weekend. Thank you again Romina and Bryan for your awesome hospitality!

Another dr. visit to add to the book!

Addy and I went to the doctors for her 6 month check. I am always a proud mama when the nurse asks all the questions about development and I get to say yes to them. We are so blessed to have such a good and healthy baby! She is growing more like a small pine tree than a weed, but still the same, growing. As I went to put her on the scale, I kept thinking, 12 lbs, 12 lbs...so when I saw that we were still in the 10 lb range, my mouth about dropped. But the doctor was pleased and said everything is still good because she is consistently gaining. She was so sad getting her shots today (I think possibly because nursing student drilled a hole into her bone instead of the muscle...but I was there before and so I am glad poor Addy could be a practice pin cushion for her :)) So here are Baby Addy's stats as of today:

weight: 10.9 lbs. 0%
height: 25 in. 21%
head circ: 16 in. 16%
